3 April, Kathmandu. A man was killed when a bus and a tipper collided at 12 Rohini Khola in Kohalpur Municipality. There are seven seriously injured in the crust.


Chief Officer Shiva Ram Rayal informed that the person who was going to Dharan from Surkhet died on Friday evening at around 6:45 pm.

The bus (May 1 Kha 3347) and an untested tipper coming from the opposite direction had collided with each other. According to the Area Police Office, Kohalpur, two persons including the driver of the tipper and three passengers of the bus were killed in the accident.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Rabindra Khanal, two cranes and three excavators had to be used to rescue the injured. A significant number of security personnel were mobilized for the rescue.
