But in the new directory, different stages of the trial have been given different points and if you bring 70 points, you will be eligible to get a license. That is, even if you make a simple mistake, you should not be deprived of getting a license.

Director General of the Department of Transport Management Namaraj Ghimire said that he would discuss with the secretaries of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport about the implementation of the new directive.

The directive said that the written test will be conducted electronically and the experimental test will be conducted using computer based automated system.

Question paper public, vehicle own

As per the new guideline, the department will make public the collection of 500 objective questions for the examination. 20 objective multiple answer questions will be asked from the same collection. A minimum of 70 marks is required to pass the 30 minute exam.

Candidates who have passed the written test will be able to take the test from their own vehicle. However, for that, motorcycles and scooters must have an engine of at least 95 cc, have a wheel base of at least 1,200 millimeters, have a manual transmission on the motorcycle, have the same 'hill hold and hill assist' nature and have vehicle registration and third party insurance updated.

In case of car jeep, it should have at least 750 cc engine, at least 2300 mm wheel base, length, width and height of 3300, 1450 and 1450 mm respectively, same type of Hill Hold and Hill Assist should be connected and vehicle registration and insurance should be updated.

According to the directive, the fuel supply, brake and transmission system should be efficient in the vehicles used in the trial. Systems like windows, doors, locks should be fine. During the trial, the car / jeep's 'rear view' camera will have to be covered.

Trial of motorcycle / scooter

The trial test of motorcycle / scooter / moped will be of 100 marks. If you bring at least 70 marks in it, you will pass and get the license.

1. Round ‘8’

The round of the ‘8’ is now given 20 points in the motorcycle trial. The test taker will fail if he touches the marked line more than once in the curved ‘8’, if the tire of the vehicle goes out of the marked line, if he steps on the ground more than once, if he does not make 8 correctly from the right direction and stops the start of the vehicle. However, 5-5 points will be deducted if the line is touched once within '8' and once the foot is touched on the ground.

2. Narrow flakes

The step of the narrow flake is placed at 10 points. At this stage, the examinee will fail if he / she falls on the ground or exits before crossing the plate.

3. U-turn

U-turn also has 10 points. If the turning indicator light is not turned on in the vehicle, 10 points will be deducted. However, touching the line will fail.

4. Traffic lights

The stage of traffic light is 15 points. If you do not follow the traffic light rules, only 15 points will be deducted. However, the candidates will not fail.

5. Bumps

The bumps phase has a weight of 15 points. In this part, 5 points will be deducted once the foot touches the ground. In this part, even if the start of the vehicle is stopped once, it will decrease by 5 points. If both these mistakes are made more than once, the examinee will fail.

6. Uphill (ramp)

The score of the ramp is 20. In this case, the test taker will fail if the vehicle exceeds the specified line or moves forward without stopping, if the rear tire moves backwards more than 6 inches while advancing the vehicle from the stopped position, if the vehicle exceeds the specified line during the descent, the vehicle stops more than once. Even if the start of the vehicle is stopped once on the hill, the points will not be deducted.

7. Behavioral aspects

The evaluation of the behavioral aspect of the examinee is given 10 marks. 3 points will be deducted if the vehicle's mirrors, tires and brakes are not tested before driving. If you drive without a helmet lock, 4 points will be deducted. 3 points will be deducted for driving in an unnatural and uncontrolled manner.

Trial of car / jeep

The integer of car, jeep and van trials is also 100. Out of them, the candidates who add 70 marks in different stages of the examination will get the license.

1. Round ‘8’

In the trial of the car jeep, the curved ‘8’ has been given a weight of 20 points. Twice ‘8’ will touch the line drawn twice. However, 5-5 points will be deducted each time. 2. Speed ​​breaker

The speed breaker phase has a weight of 10 digits. Once the start of the vehicle is stopped, 5 points will be deducted. However, if the start is stopped more than once, it will fail.

3. U-turn

The U-turn phase has a weight of 10 points. 10 points will be deducted if the turning indicator light is not turned on. However, touching the line drawn on this part will fail.

4. Traffic lights

The traffic light has a load of 15 digits. If the traffic light rules are not followed, only 15 points will be deducted.

6. Garage parking

The garage parking stage has 20 points. In this part, 10 points will be deducted for moving forward once while moving the vehicle backwards. Moving forward more than once or touching the line will fail.

7. Behavioral aspects

The behavioral aspect of the examinee has 10 marks. 3 points will be deducted if normal examination of mirrors, tires and brakes is not done before driving, 4 points will be deducted if driving without seatbelts and 3 points will be deducted if driving unnaturally.
